I got into triathlon after a summer activity holiday in Greece where I got on a road bike for the first time. With a background in running and I could swim it seemed a great new challenge and I did my first sprint race a couple of months where I surprisingly won my age group.
I then wanted to see what I could achieve if I put my mind to it and committed to some training over the winter. I did my first season of racing in 2019 and achieved qualification for the GB AG World Standard Distance Championships, silver at the English Triathlon Standard distance championships and was hooked!
I did my first 70.3 at the end of 2019 but then covid hit and I had a few years of inconsistency, lack of motivation and the general Covid hangover. My focus is definitely on the 70.3 distance as I love this style and distance of racing although I’ll never say never to doing a full…
I want to see what I am capable of, what I can achieve and where that might lead to in the sport.

Recent highlights:
2021:
IM70.3 Weymouth 2nd AG,  4th overall
AG champion at English Middle Distance championships
2022:
3rd female Cotswold 113
3rd in AG, 5th overall Outlaw Holkham Half
AG win and 2nd overall at European Middle Distance Duathlon qualifier Box End (qualified for GB AG for 2023 race)
AG winner and 3rd overall (17 secs off 2nd) IM70.3 Weymouth
15th in AG at IM70.3 WC
I have always struggled on the bike leg in a race, relying on my strong run to pull me through the field and compensate for my lack of cycling experience. I was seeking out everything to help me improve this when I found EZ Gains. I love the innovation, ideas and commitment EZ Gains has to helping improve bike speed with their products. I use the disc and chain ring covers and love them! They are easy to put on or take off depending what you need, and much more affordable than a whole other full disc wheel. I’m excited to see what other ideas Clint pulls out of the bag next!
