I’m Lizzie, a 25-year old professional triathlete based in North Wiltshire.  I competed in my first triathlon when I was 12-years old having grown up swimming with the county and my local club.  I dabbled in a few more events and other sports but then decided to fully focus on triathlon when I left university in 2019 and joined T3 Triathlon.
In 2022 I competed in my first middle distance triathlon at Outlaw Hall Nottingham and unexpectedly won the race overall therefore qualifying for my professional licence! Despite being very new to the distance I decided to take my pro card and competed at my first professional triathlon at 70.3 Swansea where I finished in 6th place.  In October I raced 70.3 Portugal and had my best race of the season finishing in 11th place but in much quicker times than Swansea and a race I was much happier with.  I consequently moved 52 places up the PTO world rankings as a result.  2023 will be my first full professional season and I’m incredibly excited about it.
I love using the EZdisc as it is versatile, fast and affordable - something that is crucial for age groupers and new professionals alike!
