Doesn't fit

Aero chainring does not fit although I give all the correct measurements (using standard Sram Red Chainset). The reply email solution was to cut around the chainring aero cover to make it fit, also cut a whole for the chainguard aswell. I don't mind doing this to some extent, however I am reluctant to chop away with a pair of scissors unprofessionally for a product I paid good money for.

Hi Daryl, I have no idea who replied to you but apologise for this, as its the correct size to go to the edge of you chainring, you just need to pop off the power meter plastic cover as per instructions:

Take your chainring, your EZ Aero Chainring Cover (EZ-ACC) and quality double sided tape (we recommend 3M)

Best results remove crank 'but this is not essential'
Remove pedal, practice lining up EZ-ACC. Use pencil and ruler if needed to locate centre point, and if possible mark round with a marker.
Please remove plastic cap cover on your power meter if you have one, otherwise the chainring guard will not fit.
Clean chainring with wipe, remove any grease, wipe with cloth and dry.
Line up EZ-ACC, remove tape cover and press down firmly to secure the tape for 30-60 seconds making sure all points have made contact. Adjust slightly if needed.
It takes 24h for the tape to set. Over this period make sure every point has taken firmly.
Please also note, that carbon effect tape will be supplied, this is to close any gaps between the Chainring Guard and Crank arm, you can use a hairdryer to help shape this.
