I got in contact with clint about his hydro bottle mount for my A race, The National 24hr! Having come second twice before i was looking for any gains i could get. These are extremely well made and didn't move for the whole 24hrs of the race! I couldn't even tell they were there! I managed to take the win with the 5th furthest distance for the race! 536 miles!! Racing longer events from 50 mile to 12 hour time trials, I’m always looking for efficient ways to carry extra fuel. The Hydro-gains is a great addition to my set-up, which gives me an extra option for bottle placement and I now have the ability to carry 5 bottles for the longest races and training rides.
The best part is that this comes with no speed penalty, quite the opposite! My first test of the system was in a club 10 mile TT where I set a course PB, 6 seconds faster than the week before for the same power, and I followed that up with a win in a 50 mile race the next weekend!
EZ Gains HQ is local to me, so I popped in to collect my order, and Clint went to the trouble of installing it for me while I was there. Great service!
