Jack Kennedy

I’m a Northern Irish medical student studying at the university of Edinburgh

I started Triathlon in 2019 after playing many sports through school- in my first season I was 3rd ranked Irish junior. Unfortunately after this I developed severe myocarditis and never got the chance to trial for the Irish high performance squad.

I recovered quite well, and since 2020 have been one of the top domestic athletes in Ireland- with my standout result being 6th in the Irish National series in 2021, and top u23. In 2022 I finished on my first senior national podium albeit in Aquabike, and won several age group titles. The standout result has to be finishing as part of the 3rd best team at British University championships for Olympic distance triathlon. I also won the triathlon Ireland Zwift leagues for cat A in winter 2021.

I very recently came on board with EZ disc so haven’t got to trial the products properly but the price point, ease of use and the aerodynamic testing all drew me towards the product. As a medical student with six years of uni to do, price is a key aspect and being able to get a product with the same effects as a disc wheel for the fraction of the price seemed like a super deal to me.
