Helping athletes find those extra gains
Throughout the week, we hosted daily aero optimisation sessions, helping athletes fine-tune their setups and find those extra gains before race day.
It was a pleasure to meet so many of you, talk through your equipment and help get your bikes ready for Kona. Thank you to everyone who stopped by.
Coming soon: EZ MonoAero Pro and EZ AeroFlow1
Kona also gave us the opportunity to reveal two exciting new products: the EZ MonoAero Pro and EZ AeroFlow1.
The EZ MonoAero Pro converts existing aero bars into a mono cockpit, bringing together a computer mount and gel storage system.
The EZ AeroFlow1 brings hydration and gels together in an integrated BTA system, designed for both racing and training.
We’ll be sharing more details on both products soon. Keep an eye on our website and social channels for updates.
Joy Breivold: a personalised setup for Kona
In Kona’s extreme heat, hydration is critical. Joy Breivold’s personalised EZ AeroFlow1 BTA system was developed around his individual setup and put to the test on the Kona course.
Carrying 4.3 litres of hydration, the system supported his fuelling strategy throughout the race. The result: an incredible 14th-place finish at the World Championships.
Thank you, Kona
To everyone who raced with EZ Gains, visited us during the week or stopped for a chat, thank you. It was a privilege to be part of your Kona experience.
Congratulations to all the athletes who took on the World Championships. We look forward to seeing you at the next race.
